The short version
Image Converter processes your photos entirely on your iPhone. Your images, filenames, and file paths are never uploaded, scanned, or stored on any server. We collect a small set of privacy-safe usage statistics and crash diagnostics to keep the app stable — that's it.
Information we collect
- Privacy-safe interaction events: number of photos selected, output format, quality preset, conversion outcome, export destination, paywall source, purchase outcome, review-prompt requests, and feedback category. Image content, filenames, file paths, feedback text, receipts, and email content are never sent to analytics.
- Diagnostic data: crash domain and error code, app version, iOS version, device model, and aggregate performance timing. Crash records are stripped of filenames, paths, and custom error text before upload.
- Purchase status: processed by Apple StoreKit. We never see your payment card details.
- Optional rewarded ads: after a free user closes the Pro offer, Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform may process an IP address (to derive coarse location), device identifiers, ad views and interactions, and crash or performance data for ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention, consent management, and aggregate reporting. Requests are non-personalized, Google's publisher first-party ID is disabled, and the app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.
What we never collect
- Your photos, converted files, or their contents.
- Your name, email, or account information (the app has no accounts).
- Your precise location.

We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above, with app stores as required for purchases, or when required by law.
Data retention
Analytics and diagnostic data are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of any data we hold by contacting us. Depending on your region you may have additional rights under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws. Where required, the app presents Google UMP privacy choices; declining an ad never removes the standard free conversion allowance.
Children
Image Converter is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
